To request for a NairaMe ride, follow these steps:

When you open the app,  “your location address is provided automatically if your location is settings is on otherwise manually input your location address in the location box” and “Drop Address as well” the app will set your pickup location via GPS;

-if you need to change the location, type in your exact address.

If you’re getting message “No cars available”, please wait a couple of minutes and try to request again or schedule a ride.

NairaMe Per trip fare is calculated by, fare per km and per minute of the ride. By inputting pick-up address and your Drop Address in the app, you can see approximate tariff for the trip at the bottom of the screen.

There are no fixed fares, fares are calculated by distance covered and time spent on each trip. However, during promotions, there may be fixed fares.

Yes! If it is a scheduled trip otherwise the driver at his discretion  may decide to accept a particular trip or not.

Yes NairaMe has made it possible for you to schedule a trip for a later date or time, all you have to do is;  click on the app, input your “pickup address  and your “drop address” click on “schedule a ride” input your pickup date and time. An option for time of pick-up and drop-off time for hired Drivers  has been provided too on the app after doing all these, a driver  will be assigned to you.

In NairaMe, this fee is taken if;

1. You cancelled a trip 5 minutes after a driver have accepted your ride request.
2. You are late for more than 5 minutes after driver has arrived at the pickup location, and you didn’t contact the driver to let him know about your delay (if there be any reason as to why you would be late, you can notify driver about it via call or app chat).

But be aware of the fact also that a  user isn’t charged a cancellation fee, if:

-you canceled trip during first 5 minutes after making request

-driver is late for more than 5 minutes.

In the case of multiple stop overs or drop off locations , enter only the first addresses, While en-route you can enter subsequent destinations and the driver will be updated on his app. He will continue the route in accordance with the mentioned addresses.

Yes you can in pay cash or via nairame wallet. NairaMe has made this only available but there is a limit for cash payment and a specific amount that can be given to the driver.
